It was a Saturday night. The sky was pitch black. No one could see past their noses and could only hear muffled footsteps and sighs from running down long corridors. Our information about the size of the buliding and the tunnels underneath were nowhere near what we thought they would be. It didn’t take the police long to respond to the silent alarms and flashing lights that alerted everyone to a robbery in progress. I couldn’t help but laugh. This was truly my happy place. My crew and I were running. We were heavily panting and our adrenaline was pumping. This was a far cry from the whining and swearing about lost jobs that normally occupied each space of our Saturday nights.
